Christmas Experience Ideas


Here is a list of experience you can enjoy with your family this Christmas:

- Polar Express Train Ride in Chattanooga

-Make Gingerbread Houses Together or Decorate Cookies

-Visit Chick-Fil-A and meet Mr. and Mrs. Clause, listen to the reading of Polar Express and Ride the Train

-"Elf" your neighbors (similar to Halloween boo-ing)

-See Christmas Lights

-Wear matching Christmas PJs and watch your favorite Christmas movie (added bonus, have a hot cocoa bar)

-See Christmas Play at Woodstock Arts or Puppet Show at The Puppetry Center in Atlanta

-See the Nutcracker with a local dance company

-Visit Rock City to see Enchanted Garden of Lights

-Visit Cherokee Parks and Rec to see all of the upcoming Christmas events in December

-Do a Christmas scavenger hunt (candy cane hunt or Christmas themed)

-Shop together for Toys for Tots or a local organization to support a family in need

-Have a Christmas Eve box to open on Christmas Eve with a pair of Christmas Pjs, a Christmas book, and some Christmas socks.

-Go to the Woodstock Christmas parade

-Create an advent activity calendar for the month of December with fun activities each day

-Do a Christmas puzzle together

-Do a Christmas craft together (i.e make a handmade ornament - You can make one with salt dough, or you can look on Pinterest for ideas)

-Pick an ornament every year with something special (i.e. when your kids are little each ornament can represent what they want to be when they get older, their favorite hobby at the moment, etc)

-Make a Spotify playlist of your favorite Christmas songs

-Turn on a Christmas screensaver or Yule Log on YouTube for ambience

-Go ice skating

-Have afternoon tea with Santa at St. Regis

-Do an act of service together (through Must Ministries, your church or any other organization participating)
